Experience and Education
I began my career working with children and families at a county mental health agency and gained experience and knowledge in working with trauma, attachment related issues, and mental health concerns. I have worked as a school psychologist, yoga instructor, and psychotherapist and I have experience with educational and mental health assessment, crisis counseling, and mindfulness instruction.
I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University and also have a Master of Education in Educational Psychology and the degree of Educational Specialist in School Psychology. I have always been an active learner and continually seek new skills and approaches to assist individuals.
I am an avid yogi and a Registered Yoga Teacher and completed certification as an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor. I strive to motivate, teach and inspire clients through positive, strengths-based support and guidance, appreciating the basic and innate goodness of all individuals.
